This position falls under one of Northrop Grumman's Small Business Units, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. and will be located onsite in Santa Rosa, CA. The selected candidate will report to the Production Manager.

This position falls under one of Northrop Grumman's Small Business Units, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. and will be located onsite in Santa Rosa, CA. Essential Functions: Performs functions associated with all thin film coating operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, chamber foiling, coating, and analyzing and inspecting.

Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct adjustments to instruments and equipment. Ability to follow critical work instructions for assigned platform (past and present) and related analytical equipment. Works with engineers in conducting testing and process development and documentation.

Handling and managing fragile composite materials. Help prepare calibration run-sheets, coats calibration runs, learn to analyzes results, and learn to help revise tooling factors for calibration runs. Adhere to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety guidelines and regulations Work and communicate over ambient noise Work in a variety of work spaces/positions.

Work spaces may include but are not limited to small, enclosed spaces, awkward, and elevated spaces. Positions may include bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, ascending/descending ladders, and/or working overhead. Ability to work flexible, changing shifts, including weekends We offer flexible work arrangements, 5/40 work schedule, phenomenal learning opportunities, and exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $72,600.00 - $121,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
