Manufacturing Technician

Location: Manassas, VA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
Shift: Day Shift; may transition to nights

Manufacturing Technician Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts
  • Work Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesday
  • Shift Hours: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Potential Schedule Change: Position may transition to night shift.

Manufacturing Technician Highlights

  • Comfortable wearing required PPE, including lab coat, mask, and gloves.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, safety protocols, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use computer-based production systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Ability to safely perform physical and ergonomic job requirements.
  • Willingness to participate in required training and complete certification requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Manufacturing Technician Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working for a semiconductor manufacturing company.
  • Previous experience working in or learning within a FAB organization.
  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience working in a clean room or other controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with SPC charts, production data, equipment troubleshooting, or semiconductor manufacturing processes.

  • Perform Production Operator responsibilities and technical manufacturing tasks within a semiconductor FAB organization.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment according to current process specifications, procedures, and change notifications.
  • Monitor and respond to SPC charts and production processes.
  • Respond to failed tool qualifications and troubleshoot equipment errors and recovery issues.
  • Process engineering targets, SWRs, tests, and other production-related activities.
  • Monitor and collect production data.
  • Disposition production lots according to established procedures.
  • Maintain production efficiencies within assigned workstations.
  • Log machine activity and communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Use computer-based programs and applications to perform daily responsibilities.
  • Maintain an organized workstation and follow 6S principles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards.
  • Use proper lifting techniques and maintain ergonomic work practices.
  • Participate in required on-the-job training and certification programs.
  • Complete certification and recertification requirements.
  • Receive and provide clear, accurate, and detailed shift pass-downs.
