Assistant Manager - Job Requirements

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Front house Manager with daily restaurant operations
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members during shifts
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
  • Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and health & safety standards
  • close the restaurant, including cash handling and daily reportsl
  • Train new employees and support ongoing staff development
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, liquor regulations, and food safety procedures
  • Help achieve sales, labour, and profitability targets

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Smart Serve Certification (required)
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
