About this position: Systems Administration (Operations Support Specialist) Location – Quantico, VA Position needs to be near a Marine Corps Base. Jacksonville NC area +/- 75 miles Quantico VA San Diego/29 Palms +/- 100 miles Yuma Az +/- 75 miles The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Linux experience. Security+ Certification. Must possess or be able to attain a DoD Secret security clearance, requires U.S. citizenship. Experience supporting DoD or government systems (if applicable). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent communications skills. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information; make appropriate judgements and evaluate options. Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
