Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Legal Assistant. This position blends traditional legal assistant responsibilities with executive-level administrative support, including direct assistance to senior leadership. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys, including senior partners
  • Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with scheduling logistics
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents with a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain and organize case files (electronic and physical)
  • Assist with state and federal e-filing processes
  • Conduct conflict checks and support new matter intake
  • Draft routine correspondence and client communications
  • Coordinate preparation of materials for hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Handle incoming calls and serve as a point of contact for clients
  • Support executive-level tasks for senior leadership, including calendar management and confidential projects

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant with exposure to executive-level support, OR Executive Assistant experience within a legal environment
  • Experience with litigation support, including e-filing at the state and/or federal level
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable supporting busy attorneys with minimal oversight
