Job DescriptionKirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City based law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant in their Salt Lake office. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude to meet the needs of high-level clients and attorneys. ResponsibilitiesFormat and construct various pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents;Manage correspondence between attorney and clients;Organize and maintain physical and electronic files;Oversight of individual client preferences, client accounts, and requests;Maintain attorney calendar;Provide proactive and advanced legal support; andOther tasks as needed.QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint;Knowledge of court requirements and proceduresExperience with the Federal and State Courts' electronic filing systemAbility to meet required deadlines, multi-task, prioritize, organize, and work calmly under pressure;High attention to detail, be proactive, and self-motivated;Ability to both follow instructions, and to think and work independently;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Bachelor's degree preferred Compensation is highly competitive and the firm offers an excellent employee benefits package.
