The Bilingual Instructional Preschool Teacher Assistant supports a Christ-centered, language-intensive early childhood classroom. Working closely with the Lead Teacher, this role provides instructional, language, and classroom support for dual-language learners in English and Spanish while fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support small-group and one-on-one instruction in literacy, numeracy, and language development
- Reinforce lesson objectives in English and Spanish
- Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and supervision
- Promote positive behavior, social-emotional development, and Catholic values
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized classroom
- Communicate with students and families in English and Spanish
- Support family engagement and school events
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Commitment to Catholic education and inclusive practices
Additional Requirements- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout the school campus
- Availability for occasional evenings/weekends with advance notice
- Completion of Archdiocesan background checks and Safe Environment Training

This position has an hourly rate of $18.25. An employee's pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
