We're currently seeking a Landscaping Crew Member for our Excavation Department.
This position will work in New Jersey (Multiple site locations).
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Landscaping Laborer to join our New Jersey operations.
This position involves weekly property maintenance and landscape work at residential, commercial, and multi-family sites.
Candidates should be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Perform weekly landscape maintenance including:
    • Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
    • Bed maintenance and weed control
    • Mulching and seasonal clean-ups
  • Assist with landscape installations such as plants, shrubs, and sod
  • Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
  • Follow job schedules and work efficiently as part of a crew
  • Maintain a clean and professional job site
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Prior landscaping experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
  • Valid driver's license preferred

Snow Removal Responsibilities (Landscaping Laborer)
  • Perform snow removal services during winter weather events
  • Shovel sidewalks, walkways, entrances, and emergency access areas
  • Apply salt and ice melt to paved surfaces as directed
  • Assist plow truck and skid steer operators by clearing tight areas and obstacles
  • Load and unload snow removal tools and materials
  • Work safely in cold, icy, and low-visibility conditions
  • Respond to snow events during early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Follow all safety procedures and directions from Crew Leaders or Supervisors

Snow Removal Requirements
  • Availability for on-call snow response during winter months
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in cold weather
  • Dependable transportation during snow events
  • Prior snow removal experience preferred but not required (training provided)
