Job Summary:

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the outdoor grounds of the school to ensure a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment for students, staff, and visitors. This includes routine landscaping tasks, seasonal upkeep, and support for special school events requiring outdoor preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor recreational areas.
  • Mow, edge, and trim grass and hedges regularly.
  • Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees appropriate to the school's landscape
  • Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules.
  • Remove debris, leaves, and litter from school grounds.
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as mulching, leaf removal, and snow/ice management.
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown for outdoor school events (e.g., graduation, sporting events).
  • Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all work areas are safe and comply with school safety standards.
  • Report any hazards or maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
