Full-time, Contract, Must live 50 miles outside of Tucson, AZ

Travel Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab)


Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10s (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Call Requirement: 9–10 call shifts per month, including 1 weekend

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our Cath Lab team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent Cath Lab experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Candidates must be proficient in scrubbing and monitoring a wide variety of interventional cardiac procedures and be available for STEMI call coverage.

Requirements
  • ARRT Certification required (RCIS certification alone will not be accepted)

  • Current experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab is required

  • Strong sterile technique and Cath Lab scrubbing experience

  • Ability to participate in STEMI call coverage

  • Experience with room setup, inventory management, and restocking supplies

Responsibilities
  • Scrub and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

  • Assist physicians during complex Cath Lab cases while maintaining sterile technique

  • Monitor and document procedures using MacLab (training available if needed)

  • Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies

  • Support efficient patient care before, during, and after procedures

  • Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend coverage

Required Procedure Experience

Candidates should have experience with:

  • Diagnostic Angiograms

  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

  • Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures

  • Left Main interventions

  • Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) closures

  • Device implants

  • Pulmonary Embolism (PE) thrombectomy

  • Peripheral vascular interventions

  • Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Structural Heart experience

Equipment Experience

Experience with the following is expected:

  • Impella

  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

  • MacLab monitoring system (training available if needed)
