Job description

Job Title: Travel – Cath Lab Radiology Technician
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days – 4/10’s (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
On-Call: 9–10 shifts per month + 1 weekend


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardio-Vascular Rad Tech for the Cath Lab. Candidates must have prior Cath Lab experience and hold an active ARRT certification (RCIS certifications will not be accepted).


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as an Invasive Radiological Technologist in a busy Cath Lab

  • Scrub and monitor Cath Lab procedures

  • Maintain strict sterile technique

  • Assist with procedures including:

    • Angiograms

    • PCI

    • Complex cases (CTO, Left Main, PFO)

    • Device implants

    • PE thrombectomy

    • IR cases

    • Peripheral interventions

  • Provide STEMI coverage

  • Operate and assist with Impella and IABP devices

  • Monitor and record procedures using MacLab (training available)

  • Maintain product knowledge and restock procedure rooms


Requirements
  • ARRT Certification – Required (No RCIS accepted)

  • Cath Lab experience – Required

  • Structural Heart experience – Preferred

  • Experience with sterile scrubbing techniques

  • Ability to take STEMI call
