โ€ข Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

โ€ข No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Greater than 2 years at large hospital Cardiac Cath Lab that provides STEMI care and advanced Cardiac Cath procedures. Pulmonary embolism, cardiogenic shock, ECMO, diagnostic and interventional treatment of CAD.

Required Credentials: One of the following is required: - Graduation from a Radiologic Science program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation. - Graduation from a special procedures program. - Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. - Completion of a course training in cardiac catherization - Transcripts required. One of the following is required: - Certified in Radiation Therapy or Radiology through ARRT. - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through CCI.

Unit Details: Assists physicians with obtaining digital radiographic images of the heart and peripheral vessels. Supports hemodynamic, diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral procedures and delivers pre-, during-, and post-procedure patient care. Prepares scrub table and patient while maintaining sterile technique, inserts IVs, and prepares lines and devices for injectable fluids under direct physician supervision. Uses Apollo reporting, Witt, HeartLab, ICE, IVUS, and Combo Map systems. Operates, troubleshoots, and performs routine maintenance on cardiac catheterization lab equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call 1 night a week 1730-0700 and 1 weekend a month Friday 1730 until Monday 0700. Holidays as needed.
