We’re dedicated to producing top-tier products through scientific excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement.  As a Lab Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining product quality while working with a friendly, team-oriented group.  You'll gain valuable hands-on experience with lab equipment, contribute to real R&D projects, and build skills that support long-term career growth in the food science and manufacturing industry.
Job Description: Responsible for assisting the Lab Manager with:
  • Retrieving finished product production run samples and raw ingredients as needed from the warehouse to analyze, store, and use in the lab.
  • Calibrating lab equipment and preparing reagents for laboratory needs.
  • Analysis of raw ingredients and finished products:  
    • Foss:                                     Proximates testing (Fat, Protein, Sugars, Moisture)
    • Kjeldahl:                              Protein
    • Cenco Oven:                     Moisture
    • pH Meter / Probes:        pH
    • RVA:                                      Viscosity
    • Brookfield:                         Viscosity
    • Zahn Cup:                          Viscosity
    • Microscope:                      Particle size & structure quantification
    • Petrifilm:                             Microbiology
  • Maintaining files and databases on lab-related information and organizing related documentation.
  • Requesting current D.I. supplier’s Vendor Documents for compliance with D.I. food safety & quality (D.I. FSQ) programming requirements.  
  • Maintaining current D.I. Documents to include PDS, SDS, certificate of origin, allergen, kosher, etc
  • Involvement with Food Safety, Quality programs, and audit activities.
  • Assisting with R&D projects.

Pay: Commensurate with experience.
