Job description

Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: RN

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day

Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: RN License required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Description: On-call required during the week and every other weekend. Unit includes 13 beds and 30 staff members. Staff consists of RNs and CVTs. Day shift operational hours are from 07:00 to 17:30 or until all cases are completed. Night shift operates on an on-call basis. Patient ratios are 1:3. Type of equipment includes Phillips and GE. Documentation systems used are Meditech and Mac Lab. Call requirements apply for after hours, weekends, and major holidays. Typical procedures performed in this unit include LHC, RHC, peripherals, structural heart, and EP. Candidates should have cath lab experience and be flexible while functioning independently. Dress code consists of scrubs provided by the institution. Position is for a vacant role.
