Art and Creative Services Technician - SeasonalDepartment: Live EntertainmentReports To: Creative Services Lead/SupervisorPosition Type: SeasonalAbout the JobStep behind the scenes and help bring the magic of Worlds of Fun to life as an Art and Creative Services Technician. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll lead the charge in installing and maintaining the immersive décor that transforms the entire park into a vibrant, themed escape for our guests. From daily scenic elements to large-scale seasonal transformations like Halloween Haunt, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable environments that spark imagination and excitement. If you're creative, detail-driven, and love turning big ideas into breathtaking realities, this is your chance to help shape the wonder that our guests come to experience.Why Work at Worlds of Fun?Free park admissionTeam member ride nights and special eventsFlexible schedulingOn‑the‑job paid training providedUniforms providedGreat experience for creative services skillsWhat You'll DoInstall, remove, and maintain themed décor elements throughout Worlds of Fun, ensuring a polished and immersive guest experience.Assist in the transformation of the park for seasonal overlays and special events, including large-scale installations for Summer Events and Halloween Haunt.Collaborate with internal departments (Entertainment, Operations, Maintenance) and external vendors to execute creative projects on time and on brand.Perform basic fabrication, assembly, and repair of scenic and decorative elements.Maintain inventory of décor, props, hardware, and installation materials; track storage and seasonal rotations.Safely operate tools and equipment used in installation and scenic production.Conduct routine inspections to ensure décor elements remain secure, weather-resistant, and guest ready.Support load-in and load-out processes for events and park-wide décor transitions.Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace in shops, storage areas, and installation sites.Contribute creative ideas and problem-solving solutions to enhance the overall visual impact of the park.Move and handle general materials and large items, as well as traverse the park on foot with some lifting. What We're Looking ForMinimum age: 17Creative background in art, theater, scenic design, event décor, floral arrangement, visual merchandising, or a related field (preferred, not required).Basic knowledge of hand tools and a willingness to safely learn new equipment and installation techniques.Strong attention to detail with an eye for color, texture, and themed environments.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to help manage inventory and storage.Positivity, flexibility, and eagerness to contribute to large-scale creative transformations.Ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast paced, event driven environment.Passion for themed entertainment, immersive experiences, and creating memorable guest moments.Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, lift, team lift, and carry equipment and materials as well as work in high and/or low temperatures and varying weather conditions.Strong teamwork skills and professional behaviorPerform these job functions with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods and willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.Other DutiesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.Ready to Apply?Apply online at EnchantedParks.com/JobsEnchanted Parks is a Smoke‑Free, Drug‑Free Equal Opportunity Employer.
