Job description

Assistant Tenure-Track Professor of Management, Daniels College of Business

Job No: 498863 | Faculty Full-Time | Denver, CO

The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver (DU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Management (tenure‑track).

DU is an R1 Doctoral/Research University and offers a range of programs accredited by AACSB.

Position Summary

The Assistant Professor will conduct high‑quality research, teach undergraduate and graduate classes, and contribute to service within the department and college. Preference for candidates with interests in the emerging digital economy, including digital innovation, transformation, AI, digital entrepreneurship, and digital leadership.

Essential Functions

Teaching: Teach six courses per academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring), including hybrid and online delivery, day, night, and weekend classes. Provide student support and participate in curriculum development.

Research: Conduct and publish research in top‑ranked management journals (Financial Times 50, ABDA*, ABSA 4+). Maintain AACSB research qualifications and pursue funding and grant opportunities.

Service: Participate in faculty meetings, assurance of learning, curriculum development, scholarly activities, and student engagement.

Required Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate in management or closely related field from an AACSB or EQUIS accredited school (ABD considered).
  • Demonstrated potential for strong teaching, research, and service performance.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
Working Environment
  • Standard office environment; moderate‑high stress.
  • Occasional office and campus movement required.
