Associate/Full Professor - Tenure/Tenure-Track - College of Nursing
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Associate/Full Professor - Tenure/Tenure-Track - College of Nursing at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
-Maintain and grow a strong program of research.
-Maintain a sustained and externally funded research program with measurable impact.
-Publish in reputable peer-reviewed nationally recognized journals.
-Prepare, teach and evaluate assigned courses.
-Use teaching strategies appropriate to learning needs.
-Participate in College and University committees.
- Chair and serve on doctoral dissertation or DNP project Committees.
-Perform related duties as assigned.
Unique duties:
Qualifications:
-PhD required, graduate degree in nursing required
- Demonstrate an independent research program with sustained, peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.
- Evidence of external research funding, such as NIH, HRSA, CDC, or foundation grants, as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI.
- Clear trajectory toward continued scholarly growth and national recognition in their area of expertise.
- Documented record of effective teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate levels (didactic and clinical).
- Evidence of mentoring students, junior faculty, or postdoctoral fellows in research or professional development.
Preferred qualifications:
Graduate degree in nursing or health-related field is preferred.
