We are looking for someone who understands how to navigate both admitted and surplus lines markets to secure the most competitive and comprehensive options for clients. Responsibilities
  • Greet clients warmly in person and over the phone, providing an exceptional first impression.
  • Quote and bind personal and commercial insurance policies (Auto, Homeowners, Workers Comp, General Liability, Umbrella, etc.).
  • Market, prospect, and close sales opportunities to grow your book of business.
  • Use admitted and surplus lines carriers to quote and place business efficiently.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions that protect clients properly.
  • Maintain organized, timely communication with clients and carriers.
  • Request referrals from satisfied clients to help expand the agency's reach.
  • Support the agency's goals by providing high-quality service and retention.

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty License required.
  • Commercial Lines experience preferred, with proven ability to quote Workers Compensation and General Liability (artisan contractors preferred).
  • Experience quoting through both surplus lines and admitted markets.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Professional, confident, and friendly demeanor with strong phone etiquette.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales Agent with an established pipeline of commercial prospects, or those who are highly motivated to actively build new business relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach preferred.
