Position Overview

Right at Home Gilbert is hiring an experienced caregiver to provide hands-on care and support for seniors and adults with diverse needs in the Gilbert, San Tan Valley, Queen Creek and Apache Junction areas.

This caregiver role is a great fit for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable assisting with personal care, full Activities of Daily Living, mobility support, transfers, Hoyer lift use, and gait belt assistance required for this weekend clients in Queen Creek and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly direct deposit, paid training, paid travel time between clients, and a supportive office team available 24/7.

Responsibilities:

As a caregiver, you will:

  • Provide companion care and personal care
  • Assist with full Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care, and eating/feeding support
  • Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, Hoyer lift use, and gait belt assistance
  • Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
  • Support seniors and adults with diverse physical or developmental needs
  • Document care activities and communicate updates with the care team
  • Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience required
  • Experience with personal care and full ADL support required
  • Hoyer lift and transfer experience strongly preferred
  • Gait belt experience strongly preferred
  • Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable providing hands-on care
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • CPR certification not required to apply
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card not required to apply
  • Recent TB test not required to apply
