You’ll work closely with project leadership and cross-discipline teams to deliver safe, high-quality results that meet our schedules and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise civil craft personnel, foremen, and subcontractors on site
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate civil construction activities aligned with the project schedule
  • Oversee and coordinate:
    • Excavation and underground work
    • Structural and equipment foundations
    • Concrete placement and finishing
    • Formwork and carpentry operations
    • Reinforcing steel installation
    • Anchor bolt and embedment installation
    • Underground utilities and drainage systems
  • Ensure proper layout, elevation control, and dimensional accuracy of foundations and embedded items
  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, survey, quality, safety, and other craft disciplines
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and site-specific rules
  • Conduct daily job briefings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning
  • Monitor productivity, manpower loading, equipment utilization, and material usage—adjusting plans to meet milestones
  • Review drawings, specifications, civil details, and work packages for proper execution
  • Interface with inspectors, client representatives, vendors, and survey teams
  • Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and work conflicts
  • Enforce quality control standards, concrete tolerances, and inspection requirements
  • Support equipment setting, alignment activities, and turnover requirements as needed

Qualifications

Required
  • 8–15 years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction, including direct power generation work
  • Proven experience on industrial, simple-cycle, and combined-cycle power projects
  • Strong hands-on and supervisory experience with:
    • Excavation and underground utilities
    • Structural concrete and foundations
    • Concrete finishing and formwork systems
    • Reinforcing steel installation
    • Anchor bolt and embedment installation
  • Prior experience as a Civil Superintendent, General Foreman, or equivalent leadership role on large-scale projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, foundation tolerances, and survey coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural details, specifications, and civil layouts
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred
  • NCCER certification or equivalent construction credentials
  • Experience on utility-scale or large industrial EPC projects
  • Familiarity with both union and non-union work environments
  • Experience supporting rotating equipment foundations and equipment installation activities

Work Environment

  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and shutdown schedules as project needs require
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments, including excavation areas, elevated work, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
  • Willingness to travel or work at remote project locations

Benefits
