Position Overview

As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees while overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance, managing employee relations, administering benefits and leave programs, and supporting strategic business initiatives.

What You'll DoStrategic HR Leadership
  • Partner with organizational leaders to support business objectives and workforce initiatives
  • Drive programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and overall efficiency
  • Provide recommendations and insights through HR metrics and reporting
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters
  • Conduct workplace investigations and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee concerns and disciplinary actions
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and positive work environment
Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Oversee administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and ancillary benefits
  • Lead annual open enrollment processes
  • Act as the primary liaison between employees, brokers, and benefit vendors
  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions and issue resolution
  • Manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and applicable state and federal leave programs
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement policy updates as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee records and confidential documentation
Performance Management & Development
  • Support managers with performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and best practices related to employee performance
  • Mentor and support HR team members while encouraging professional growth
  • Help build leadership capability throughout the organization

QualificationsRequired:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of employee relations experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Experience administering employee benefit programs and leave management
  • Demonstrated workplace investigation and conflict-resolution experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, or another highly regulated environment
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
