Pay Range:
$34.21 - $51.31
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
HSHS St. Mary's Hospital - Decatur is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team.
Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven individuals who are responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services and who serves as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers and self-professional advancement. PT will also perform other professional duties associated with the care of patient, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams.
Position Specifics:
oDepartment: Pediatric inpatient and outpatient
oCore Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleep
oSchedule: Full time - 40 hrs/wkly - day 8am-430pm but flexible in offering 8 or 10 hour shifts - weekend rotation of one Saturday a month working 8am-12pm - no other weekend requirements and no on call
oFacility: St. John's Hospital
oClinic Location: Springfield, IL
o Sign On Bonus: $25,000

Education Qualifications
  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.

  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
