AMG Specialty Hospital Zachary seeks Full Time Registered Nurses, RN and Full Time Licensed Practical Nurses, LPN for all shifts. Excellent opportunity for your nursing career! Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring log-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/coworkers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. LPN will provide patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Job Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN Louisiana Licensure.
  • Acute care, med-surg, critical care of ICU experience is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
