Work Two 12 Hour Shifts, Get Paid for Three

At Camber Hospitals, our Weekend Agreement Nurses play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of youth receiving acute behavioral healthcare. Position Summary

This role supports the overall health and safety of acute psychiatric patients through medication administration, health assessments, infection control, documentation, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and consultation with direct care staff.

Schedule & Compensation

Work two shifts each weekend and get paid for three. A set schedule of 2 shifts per week. This unique agreement allows you to earn full-time pay while maintaining a flexible schedule that supports your work-life balance.

Varies per license, degree level, & years of experience. This position is not eligible for shift differentials.

RN-Base pay-35-46.45/hr

LPN-Base pay-28.50-36.20/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete nursing assessments and documentation within required timelines.

  • Perform ongoing assessments and monitor vital signs per policy.

  • Administer medications, including psychotropic and PRN medications, and document accurately.

  • Monitor infection control, respond to injuries and emergencies, and provide first aid as needed.

  • Communicate with physicians, guardians, and treatment teams regarding patient health.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interventions, orders, and records.

  • Partner with the staff nutritionist to meet patient dietary needs and report allergies.

  • Participate in treatment planning, staff training, and patient education groups.

  • Assist with lab specimen collection and ensure timely pharmacy coordination.

  • Support safety and wellbeing by following all KVC procedures and protocols.

Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.

  • Experience: Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Licensure: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Kansas.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

    • Must be at least 20 years old
