Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronic. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, printers, mobile devices, and common peripherals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 applications, email, networking, and basic system configurations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, login, password, printing, application, and hardware issues.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document help desk tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests while meeting established response and resolution expectations.
