Furniture Handling or Moving Experience Strongly Preferred

The Delivery Source is looking for a dependable, experienced team member with hands-on furniture handling experience.
If you have worked in furniture delivery, moving, furniture installation, furniture receiving, a furniture warehouse, home furnishings, or a similar hands-on role, we want to hear from you.
We are a locally owned furniture receiving, storage, delivery, and installation company serving interior designers, builders, businesses, and homeowners throughout Northeast Florida.
This is a hybrid position. Depending on the schedule, some days you may work in our warehouse receiving and preparing furniture, while other days you will work with our delivery and installation team at client locations.

What You'll Do

Furniture Delivery & Installation

  • Safely handle, load, transport, unload, assemble, and place furniture and home furnishings
  • Protect furniture and client property throughout the delivery process
  • Inspect furniture before loading, unloading, and installation
  • Properly pad, wrap, secure, and load furniture for transportation
  • Assemble and install furniture when required
  • Place furniture according to client or designer direction
  • Remove packaging and leave job sites clean
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service while working in homes and businesses
Warehouse

  • Receive and inspect incoming furniture and furnishings
  • Identify and report damage, defects, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Unpack and prepare furniture for inspection when needed
  • Label, organize, and maintain inventory locations
  • Pull and stage furniture for upcoming deliveries
  • Assist with minor furniture adjustments or repairs when trained and assigned
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
Experience We're Looking For

Professional furniture-handling experience is one of our most important qualifications.

A background as a mover can be an excellent fit for this position, especially if you have experience safely handling furniture inside homes, loading trucks, protecting pieces from damage, and working as part of a delivery crew.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Applicants must be able to:
  • Safely assist with lifting and maneuvering heavy furniture, including items weighing over 100 lbs. using team lifting and appropriate equipment
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and climb stairs throughout the workday
  • Maneuver furniture through homes, doorways, stairways, and confined spaces
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time 
  • Monday–Friday
  • Shifts generally fall between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM
  • No regular weekends
  • $18.00–$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience
  • Paid weekly
  • Tips may be earned on client deliveries and installations
  • Opportunity to qualify for additional performance-based incentives
  • Occasional overtime may be available
Candidates with strong furniture delivery, moving, installation, assembly, or professional furniture-handling experience may qualify toward the higher end of the starting range.
