The Delivery Source – Jacksonville, FL
$19.00–$24.00/hour + Tips & Performance Incentives | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Furniture Handling or Moving Experience Strongly Preferred

The Delivery Source is looking for a dependable, experienced team member with hands-on furniture handling experience.
If you have worked in furniture delivery, moving, furniture installation, furniture receiving, a furniture warehouse, home furnishings, or a similar hands-on role, we want to hear from you.
We are a locally owned furniture receiving, storage, delivery, and installation company serving interior designers, builders, businesses, and homeowners throughout Northeast Florida.
Your primary role will be furniture delivery and installation, but this is a flexible operations position. When deliveries are lighter, you will also help in the warehouse with receiving, inspections, inventory, staging, organization, and other warehouse duties.

What You’ll Do

  • Load, transport, unload, assemble, and install furniture and home furnishings 
  • Carefully protect furniture, client homes, floors, walls, doorways, trucks, and equipment 
  • Inspect furniture and immediately report any damage or concerns 
  • Properly secure furniture for transportation 
  • Place furniture according to designer or client direction 
  • Provide professional, courteous service in high-end homes and commercial spaces 
  • Remove packaging and leave job sites clean 
  • Complete delivery paperwork and proof-of-delivery photos 
  • Drive company vehicles when assigned 
  • Help maintain trucks, tools, moving blankets, straps, and equipment 
  • Assist in the warehouse when needed with receiving, inventory, staging, organization, and general warehouse work 
What We’re Looking For

Professional furniture-handling experience is one of our most important qualifications.

A background as a mover can be an excellent fit for this position, especially if you have experience safely handling furniture inside homes, loading trucks, protecting pieces from damage, and working as part of a delivery crew.
  • Furniture delivery, moving, installation, warehouse, logistics, or similar hands-on experience preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record 
  • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools 
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic 
  • Able to follow instructions and pay attention to details 
  • Professional and respectful around clients and their homes 
  • Team player willing to help wherever needed 
  • Able to safely lift, move, and maneuver heavy furniture as part of a team 
  • Comfortable working on your feet and performing physical work throughout the day 
Schedule

  • Monday–Friday 
  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM 
  • No weekends required 
  • Full-time position, expected to average at least 30 hours per week 
  • Hours may vary based on delivery volume and workload 
  • Occasional overtime may be available 
Pay & Benefits

Pay: $19.00–$24.00 per hour + tips, based on experience
Paid weekly

Eligible full-time employees may qualify for benefits after completing the 90-day introductory period, including:
