The selected individual will work as a maintenance technician on the weekend shift at Sutter Street in Booneville. This maintenance technician will be responsible for safely completing overall scheduled preventative maintenance and timely repairs to equipment and facility as needed in a timely manner assist and enhance/support the stated objectives of the overall operation.

  • Always adhere to the policies of Williams-Sonoma while performing any duties as assigned with a positive attitude and willing spirit to assist others in the department, facility, and the organization. Always acting with professional courtesy and the highest integrity.
  • Monitor, maintain, and perform minor repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
  • Accurately track and store the departments' inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Supporting continuous improvement within all departments.
  • Ability to drive (PIT) Powered Industrial Trucks inclusive of people movers and forklifts.
    • Will be required to take WSI certification and pass.
  • Assess and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site.

    • Cutter repair and maintenance

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment.
  • Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read, interpret, and implement work orders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally, written, and in an e-mail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Safety minded in all work performed.
  • Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot and understand resources to accomplish tasks.
  • Capable of gathering needed materials to complete repairs/work orders.

We prefer some of these qualities as well....
  • At least 5 year's experience in maintenance at furniture manufacturing facility.
  • Sewing machine maintenance experience.
  • Degree in electrical or industrial maintenance field.
  • Welding certification.

  • Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet ( foot pedals ) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
  • Working conditions may include small include smalls spaces, dust, fume/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.
