POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides excellent service and support as an integral part of the Deposit Operations team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Effectively prioritize internal and external requests, building strong relationships between operations and the entire Bank
  • Provide excellent customer service, delivering support and answering internal and external inquiries by phone and email
  • Professional oral and written communication skills and follow-up when corresponding with employees and customers
  • General knowledge and understanding of Check and Wire Team tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Processing domestic/international outgoing/incoming wires
  • In-clearing and deposited check review and processing
  • Risk and fraud review of accounts, transactions, and deposited items
  • Maintain tracking logs
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail in all daily functions and the ability to perform the same daily tasks without losing focus
  • Support Branches and internal departments
    • Wire related research and inquiries
    • Check related research and inquiries
  • Ability to understand and execute risk assessment processes
  • Assist manager with research and projects related to Deposit Operations products, processes, and procedures
  • Review current processes, make recommendations for improvement/
  • Adheres to 1st Security Bank's Core Values, policies and procedures
  • Cross train to perform other functions in Deposit Operations as requested
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, use multiple systems, and manage competing deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be detail-oriented while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness and flexibility in performing tasks.

SCHEDULE
The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software.
