Description:

Pine Hollow Club is seeking part-time Banquet Servers to support private events, member functions, and special events at the Club. This is a guest-facing role that requires professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, and a friendly service style.

We are especially looking for candidates with availability on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays, as most events are scheduled during weekend hours.


Position: Banquet Server
Job Type: Part-time, seasonal/as needed
Schedule: Event-based schedule; Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday availability strongly preferred
Compensation: $20.00 per hour


Responsibilities

  • Set up event spaces according to the event plan, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, service stations, and other event needs
  • Provide professional food and beverage service during banquets, private events, member functions, and Club events
  • Greet members and guests with a friendly and helpful attitude
  • Serve plated meals, buffet service, passed hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and other event items as needed
  • Clear tables, reset service areas, and maintain a clean and organized event space throughout the shift
  • Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, and proper storage of equipment and supplies
  • Work closely with managers, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure events run smoothly
  • Follow Club standards for service, appearance, safety, sanitation, and professionalism
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on event and Club needs

Qualifications

  • Prior banquet, restaurant, catering, club, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items as needed for event setup and service
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be available for weekend events, especially Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays

Work Environment

This position works primarily in banquet rooms, dining areas, outdoor event spaces, and other areas of the Club depending on the event. Schedules vary based on event needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
