Job description

Clair Global is looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual to oversee the event prep process in our Escondido Warehouse! This position is full-time, with benefits, that provides an opportunity to work with the best in the business for boldly advancing technology driven experiences through audio, video, systems integration, and more.
This position is Thursday-Monday.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Event Prep Supervisor assumes primary responsibility for supervising the everyday operations of the Warehouse-Tour Prep Department including coordinating tour preps within the scope of Clair's mission and core values.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Supervise all tour prep employees
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer orders are pulled, packed, and shipped on time at or above company standards in accordance with the client's specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
  • Proficient knowledge of Clair gear and tour prep practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to various groups of internal and external customers
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to supervise and lead the department by establishing goals and providing direction
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently
  • Must be available by phone or email during off hours
  • Must be computer literate with a willingness to improve knowledge base moving forward
  • Familiar with the use of usual office machinery, timecard systems, and a security system

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma plus 5 or more years' experience working in a warehouse or related field
  • Experience with the order fulfillment process
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching employees

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Employee Supervision
  1. Employee time clock enrollment and timecard approvals
  2. Provide employee coaching and mentoring, and resolve department and employee issues

Department Management
  1. Confer with other department managers to coordinate warehouse activities
  2. Coordinate company inventory between departments and other offices utilizing gear to its fullest potential on a global basis.
  3. Input into ERP software to accurately track, manage, and utilize company owned assets
  4. Develop and/or improve packaging of Clair systems
  5. Collaborate on a regular basis with Clair operations personnel
  6. Participate in loading and unloading trucks when necessary
  7. Open and lock building when necessary
  8. Perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time
