  • Network Engineer (Consultant #10361)Position Overview
    Our direct client, has an immediate opening for a Network Engineer consultant. This is a fully onsite role supporting the agency’s core network infrastructure.Contract Details
    • Duration: 12 months
    • Extension Potential: Yes (based on performance and agency needs)
    • Work Location: Fully Onsite – Columbia, SC (Blythewood area)
    • Hours per Week: 37.5 (standard business hours)
    • On-Call / After-Hours: Potential for on-call support outside regular hours and weekends as needed for outages
    • Travel: Required to various SCDMV Field Offices during work hours. A valid Driver’s License is required. A state vehicle will be provided for official travel.
    Candidate Location Requirements
    Candidates must be current residents of South Carolina (SC), North Carolina (NC), or Georgia (GA) AND be willing to relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood, SC at their own expense prior to the start date.Required Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
    • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls
    • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
    • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Switches
    • 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
    • 10+ years of experience with Cisco Administration
    • 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
    • 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
    Preferred Skills
    • 10+ years of experience with monitoring and tracing tools
    • 10+ years of experience with core network architecture
    • 10+ years of experience with advanced troubleshooting, routing, and switching
    • 4+ years of experience with wireless networks
    • 3+ years of experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
