📍 Muskogee, OK | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | 🌙 Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced L&D unit. The ideal candidate will have strong labor, delivery, and cesarean section experience and be comfortable with rotating call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for labor and delivery patients
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Assist with cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Requirements:
Active Oklahoma RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
Experience in Labor & Delivery
Experience assisting with Cesarean Sections
Experience with LDRP/LDRPS patient care
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Proof of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring training
Experience with Epic EMR
TeamBirth experience preferred
Assignment Details:
13-week assignment
36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Rotating weekends
One 12-hour on-call shift every 2 weeks (30-minute response time)
