Elevate the nursing profession with your grace and excellence by sharing your skills and experience teaching the future generation of nurses.ONLY registered nurses may apply! We are seeking highly dedicated and professional Registered Nurses to join our team. Full or part-time positions available at our Baton Rouge Campus. This is a day shift position.Instructor responsibilities include assisting the PN faculty with instructional and curriculum support, training on educational resources, assisting with student and faculty orientation, and coordinating skills lab activities. This is a terrific opportunity to demonstrate excellence in nursing with your compassion, care and expertise. The college provides all faculty training.Requirements:
Current and valid Louisiana state RN license;
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience;
Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.Full time instructors typically teach in class and supervise on-site clinical 32 - 40 hrs./wk.. Part-time can either teach in class or supervise on-site clinical 16 - 24 hrs./wk.Hours of student instruction: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Classroom Instruction);
6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Clinical Instruction);
Mon - Thurs; some Fridays; Weekends and Holidays off.
