What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator, you'll play a critical role in the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to quality standards.

Production & Machine Operation
  • Operate and monitor forming and extrusion equipment
  • Manage the production process from raw materials to finished products
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine quality inspections using calipers and micrometers
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Assist with machine setups and product changeovers
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Equipment Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery for cleaning and maintenance
  • Wash, sanitize, and polish equipment according to company standards
  • Support maintenance efforts to keep equipment operating at peak performance
  • Follow all sanitation and SSOP procedures

What You Bring
  • At least 1 year of machine operating experience OR mechanical training
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools
  • Ability to use or learn precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Comfortable working with technology and touch-screen control systems
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work a rotating 12-hour schedule
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extrusion or plastics manufacturing experience
  • Press or punch machine operating experience
  • Manufacturing sanitation or industrial cleaning experience

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced plastics manufacturing facility producing everyday consumer products such as cups, containers, and utensils
  • Active, hands-on role involving walking, lifting, bending, and climbing stairs
  • Warm and noisy production environment (hearing protection provided)
  • Rotating 12-hour day or night shifts
  • Consistent 3/4 schedule with only two weekends worked per month
