Merchology seeks an Embroidery Machine Operator for our PA Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Embroidery Machine Operator is a critical role that will ensure the highest quality customization of our products, enhancing brand value and customer satisfaction through precision and attention to detail. This is a seasonal opportunity (starting in October and completing in January).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful Embroidery Machine Operator will:
  • Successfully and safely run a multi-head Wilcom Embroidery Machine and other production machines
  • Work at a standing workstation with ergonomic floor mats for safety and comfort
  • Learn to hoop and prepare soft goods to run on an embroidery machine
  • Use hand-eye coordination to thread machine and change needles
  • Read and properly execute production work orders and instructions
  • Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors
  • Monitor the proper functioning of assigned embroidery machine
  • Keep workstation clean and organized
  • Additional projects or duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic computer skills to read and print work orders as needed
  • Knowledge of English language to understand safety and training requirements and review and process work orders

  • Onsite role located at our production facility
  • 2nd Shift 2:30 - 11 pm, Monday to Friday
