Worthington Samuel Coil Processing (WSCP), a joint venture of Worthington Steel, is hiring Machine Operators to join our production team in Twinsburg, OH, with opportunities available on night shift. In this hands-on role, you will support production by loading materials, positioning work, setting up jobs, operating and adjusting machinery, and packaging finished products. Employees work a non-rotating 12-hour shift, following a 2-2-3 bi-weekly pattern.

Responsibilities
  • Perform one of multiple roles, including operating exit, entry and set-up tasks to ensure ongoing machine operation.
  • Package, weigh, and load/unload material, and stage material
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe, efficient and quality production of materials

Desired Experience
  • Ability to Perform repetitive, physically demanding work; stand up to 12 hours; maintain full mobility and manual dexterity in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat/cold exposure); lift up to 50lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to retain and apply instructions.
  • Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance record
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to operate banding tools and read a tape measure
  • Recognize and detect quality issues
  • Read and comprehend detailed instructions in English
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Sense of urgency; desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work 24/7 schedule, including weekend and holidays

Schedule
The facility operates on a 24/7 Schedule. This position requires working a non-rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Employees will 6PM to 6AM, following a 2-2-3 bi-weekly pattern.
