Job description

Essential Functions:

  • Read work orders and design templates, select appropriate needles, threads, and stabilizers, thread machines, adjust tension, and hooping fabrics for each job.
  • Load embroidery designs into machines, set stitch parameters, and run production runs while monitoring for defects.
  • Adjust machine settings for different jobs.
  • Inspect finished pieces for alignment, stitching accuracy, and trimming; perform test sew-outs to improve quality.
  • Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of needles, tension parts, and other wear items; resolve minor machine issues.
  • Document production counts, rework needs, and capacity limits; report maintenance needs to supervisors.
  • Trim threads, clean finished items, and prepare them for shipment, pickup or storage.
  • Work with design and production teams to meet client specifications and adjust designs as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
