Job Title: Machine Operator
Department: Manufacturing

Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Position Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures and specifications
  • Monitor equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and detect any issues
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machines
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and efficiency
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
  • Record production data, including quantities, downtime, and defects
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major problems to maintenance or supervision
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications
