Role Responsibilities
The Element Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The Element Machine Operator plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods.
The Element Machine Operator position is part of the Production Team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
  • Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper verification for production runs.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Monitor machine operations and observe product quality, making adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
  • Document production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve problems and improve processes.
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with tube cutting, hand and power tools, measuring tools, basic math/counting, multimeters/hi-pot testing, and welding is a plus but not required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.
