The Electromechanical Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshoot moderately complex program issues, modify or implement programming on computer-controlled systems through regular guidance.

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • In this role, you will utilize maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used.
  • Perform periodic inspection and maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems with limited guidance.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures, including motor control devices, input sensing devices and other output devices.
  • Participate in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery
  • Implement and modify programming with direction

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) 
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Basic comper skills
  • Experience working in a production or plant environment
  • Have minimum of one year of experience with industrial electrical automation and any mechanical maintenance trade


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
  • Previous experience with inventory system
  • Experience performing maintenance trades such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearings, lubrication, pump and piping systems, or hydraulics and pneumatics
