Job Description Special Education Teacher Location: Leesburg, VA Area Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available About Us: A Different Kind of Educational Partner At e&e Educational Partners, we do things differently. Led by a 20-year veteran of special education, we walked away from the high-volume corporate agency model that treats passionate educators like numbers. We operate on a retention-first philosophy.

This means we focus entirely on long-term culture fit, classroom continuity, and ensuring you feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a real difference. We are currently building a dedicated special education team for high-impact, in-person placements within highly regarded public school systems throughout the Leesburg and Loudoun County area. Exact school building assignments will be customized and matched based on your specific location preferences, skill set, and commute.

Responsibilities Instruction & Adaptation: Plan, adapt, and deliver differentiated instruction aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) to meet individual student learning styles and needs. IEP Management: Write comprehensive Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track progress through data-driven assessment, and manage re-evaluations in compliance with Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) guidelines. Classroom & Behavior Support: Implement positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

Collaboration: Partner with general education teachers, specialized instructional support personnel (SLPs, OTs, PTs), parents, and district administrators during IEP team and eligibility meetings. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. Certification: Active Virginia Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement (General Curriculum K-12, Adapted Curriculum, or specific age-band endorsement) or eligibility for a VDOE Provisional License.
