  • Operate digital NLE equipment and Mac/Windows software.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere.
  • Manage incoming video feed's
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain edit booths and equipment, including file management.
  • Strong communication with reporters, anchors, producers, and editors.
  • Knowledge of multi-layered news graphics.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Create and optimize video and visual content for digital, web, social, streaming, and emerging distribution platforms.
  • Demonstrates adaptability in developing digital content, web presentation, audience engagement, and emerging media skills, recognizing that future business needs may extend beyond traditional editing responsibilities.

  • One-year experience in videotape editing for newscasts or related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere.
  • General knowledge of TV news playback systems. (Bitcentral, etc.)
  • Willingness to work weekends, nights, early mornings, holidays, and overtime.
