Job description

Radiation Oncology Locum - Illinois
  • Work Dates Needed: Jun- Oct
  • Preferred Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-430p
    • 2 weeks of coverage needed in Jun
    • F/T coverage needed Jul-Oct
    • No Call / No Weekends
  • Worksite Setting: Outpatient
  • Scope of Work:
    • Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning, prescription for radiation therapy, weekly assessments of patients under treatment, and post-treatment patient follow-up.
    • Responsible for checking daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment.
    • Avg 25-30 ppd
    • Cases - External beam treatments, OTV's and follow ups
    • Procedures required - on site supervision for compliance, checking SRS's, on treatment visits, follow up or consult.
    • Solo coverage
  • Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active IL license required, BC, DEA, BLS, CSR,
  • EMR: Epic
