Specialty: MRI Technologist
Shift: Day Shift | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 13-Week Contract

Job Description:
HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join their imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI experience, the ability to work independently, and experience performing a variety of MRI procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Department Information:

  • MRI Department (Unit 734)
  • 467-bed hospital
  • ACR Accredited Imaging Department
  • Equipment: GE Explorer 1.5 Tesla MRI
  • Documentation Systems: Meditech & GE PACS

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams including Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, and Breast imaging
  • Operate MRI equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Complete accurate documentation using Meditech and GE PACS
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff
  • Provide excellent patient care throughout imaging procedures
  • Maintain compliance with department protocols and imaging standards

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT MRI Registry
  • Active Florida State Radiologic Technology License
  • BLS Certification
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous MRI Technologist experience required

Call Requirements:

  • Every other weekend call rotation
  • On-call coverage after 11:00 PM
  • 24-hour Saturday and Sunday call rotation
