Job description

Experienced and dedicated dosimetrists are invited to make a meaningful impact at a busy cancer facility through a locum tenens opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates eager to contribute their expertise in radiation therapy while working with an established and supportive team. Interview processes are efficient, with immediate placement available for qualified professionals.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Locum tenens assignment
  • Immediate start date available
Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in radiation therapy dosimetry
  • ARRT certification required
  • Valid or in-process New York State license
  • Proficiency with Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam systems highly desirable
  • Prior locum tenens experience preferred
  • New graduates will not be considered
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicists, and therapists to develop and implement accurate radiation treatment plans
  • Perform dose calculations and ensure plan quality assurance to deliver optimal patient outcomes
  • Operate and troubleshoot treatment planning systems including Mosaiq, Elekta, Varian, and TrueBeam
  • Stay current with advances in dosimetry technology and treatment techniques
  • Maintain detailed records and adhere to facility protocols, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
