What you'll be responsible for:
As a Dishwasher, you'll support the kitchen and F&B team by ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. This role is essential to maintaining a smooth kitchen operation, upholding sanitation standards, and supporting food safety and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment according to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Keep dish, prep, and kitchen areas clean, organized, and stocked
  • Assist with trash and recycling removal and proper disposal
  • Support kitchen team with basic cleaning, restocking, and prep assistance as needed
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  • Clean floors, mats, walls, and work surfaces as assigned
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Support other kitchen stations during peak times when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Success Measures
  • Dishes and kitchen equipment are consistently clean, sanitized, and ready for use
  • Dish area remains organized, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
  • Maintains a steady pace during busy service periods
  • Works well with kitchen teammates and follows direction
  • Contributes to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications
  • Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety practices in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and detail
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak season
  • Food handler certification preferred but not required
