Summary:
As a Microsoft Power Platform Administrator / SharePoint Developer you will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in delivering technology solutions to enhance the effectiveness of analysts and operational staff. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance existing applications and dashboards built on Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, while designing and developing new tools that streamline workflows, improve data visibility, and support mission objectives. This position requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and close collaboration with analysts and stakeholders in a high-security, data-driven environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilites:
  • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Design, build, and deploy new Power Apps and Power BI dashboards that meet end-user requirements.
  • Manage Power Platform environments, connections, permissions, and data gateways.
  • Develop automation and workflow solutions to streamline processes for client base.
  • Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Design and deploy new SharePoint solutions integrated with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Ensure reliability, accessibility, and security of SharePoint-based applications and content.
  • Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide user support, documentation, and training for applications and dashboards.
  • Work with IT security teams to ensure all solutions align with information assurance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvements
  • Collaborate with the rest of engineering team to design and launch new features. Includes coordination and documentation of deployment procedures, release plans, etc.
  • Keen interest in learning and using the latest software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real world problem sets vital to national security
  • Support off-hours deployment such as evening or weekends.
  • Co-location: High colocation, 70-80% onsite.

Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Expericence executing the essential dutes and responsibiites listed
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Working knowledge with Collaboration tools, such as, Jira and Confluence

Desired Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
  • Experience supporting federal intelligence/law enforcement clients.
  • Experience with JSON, REST APIs, or integrating external data sources
  • Experience with DevOps environments
  • Expertise in various COTS, GOTS and open-source tools which support development of data integration and visualization applications

  • Ability to operate across traditional technical boundaries, comfortable working in the compute space as well as the storage space in an operational capacity.
