Job description

Overview

Factory Location: Greenwood, IN

Compensation: $46.78/hour with $.50 increases after 90 and 180 days upon successful review

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs


Responsibilities

Perform maintenance tasks to include - repairing, planning, coordinating, and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment.

Identify processing efficiency improvement opportunities and manage improvement projects.

Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and manage waste reduction projects

Streamline preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations.

Direct equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees

Support (thru cross training) in other areas covered by the technical team

Will actively support NCE through GO SEES – DMAIC projects – Debriefs and shift handoffs – DOR meetings when required

Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to –Production support - Mechanical Room– Water Processing – Boiler Room –Waste Water Treatment- Water Chemical Treatment Program –


Qualifications

Three to Five years proven PLC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must currently be in a mechanic position to apply.

Must have knowledge level of PLC programming and automation (Allen Bradley and Siemens)

Working knowledge of Network (device net, ether net, GE In elusion)

Must have working knowledge of analog inputs/ outputs and PID programming

Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing.

Communicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team’s ability to respond to equipment failures and loss of production.

Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work often unsupervised.

Advanced computer navigation skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications.

Available for call-ins (company will supply cell phone ) or to cover all shifts to support production teams as required.

Ability to vary schedule and work over time as needed to include call ins to support team or Production needs.

Must have and display a positive attitude, strong social skill and exhibit teamwork through daily interactions.

Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
