Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Flexible Scheduling Required)

Position Overview

CVS Health is seeking compassionate, patient-focused Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its Vaccination Initiative as an Immunization Nurse Float. In this patient-facing role, you will administer a variety of vaccines, including Influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended immunizations, while delivering exceptional patient care in a retail healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations according to established protocols.
  • Assess patients prior to vaccination and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate vaccination documentation and medical records.
  • Educate patients regarding vaccine benefits, side effects, and follow-up care.
  • Adhere to CDC, state, and CVS Health immunization guidelines.
  • Maintain infection prevention and PPE protocols.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and store teams.
  • Deliver outstanding patient-centered care with professionalism and compassion.
  • Support daily clinic workflow while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Adapt to changing operational needs and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization administration.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Strong medication administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable administering vaccinations to patients of all ages.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail clinic or community health experience.
  • Experience administering high-volume vaccination clinics.
  • Prior CVS Health or Aetna experience (not required).
  • Strong customer service and patient education skills.
Work Environment
