About The Opportunity
A General Laborer assists the operators at various machine centers throughout the plant. This full-time person will fill in across all departments where needed.
Pay Rate: Pay increases as you train and qualify in different departments!
Training $ 24.52
Qualified $ 25.58
Work Hours: Day & Night Shift Available
6AM-6PM OR 6PM-6AM

Entry Level Welcome! Willing to Train! Can also certify for Forklift Operating!
Essential Functions
  • Assist the Die Cut Operator by helping set up the machine and removing corrugated sheets from the back of the die cutter.
  • Work as an assistant operator in the Automatän Room, feeding corrugated sheets into the Automatän.
  • Operate the Unitizer in the Shipping Department, banding finished units of corrugated product.
  • Support the Corrugator Department as a Downstacker Operator or Baler Operator, including placing load tickets into units of corrugated sheets and completing required paperwork.
  • Serve as the Assistant B Operator in Joining by removing bundles of corrugated stock and stacking them onto bay sheets per customer requirements.
  • Assist in miscellaneous departments as needed for specific projects.
  • Inspect finished product to ensure it meets customer quality specifications.
  • Prioritize quality through attention to detail, accuracy, and active participation in process improvements-quality is the responsibility of all employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment around moving equipment and personnel.
  • Ability to read a tape measure or ruler accurately.
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel & bend over for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and the ability to work safely at all times.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required by business needs.
  • Effective teamwork skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across various roles.
